That is a faster turnaround than iPhone 18 Pro, which does not open for pre-order until Saturday, September 12, even though both products land on the same Friday. Apple Watch Series 12 and AirPods 5 follow the same order-today, ship-September-18 schedule as the Ultra.

Apple Watch Ultra 4 price and the $24.99 monthly option
The $799 starting price is the same as last year’s Apple Watch Ultra 3. Apple describes the $24.99 monthly figure as an Apple Upgrade lease over 24 months, and the release does not spell out the terms beyond that, so read the details on the Apple Store before choosing it.

Apple has not published the Hermès price, band prices, or whether any configuration costs more than $799. Display size, weight and storage are also absent from the release.
Where Apple Watch Ultra 4 is launching
Apple’s Ultra 4 release gives the September 18 date without a country-by-country list. The Series 12 release, published the same day, names the US, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, India, Japan and the UAE plus more than 50 other countries and regions for September 18, and Apple has not said whether the Ultra follows exactly the same list.
The watch ships with watchOS 27, which arrives as a free update on Monday, September 14, four days before the hardware, alongside iOS 27.
