Nothing in Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro accessory line has a deadline attached to it. All six items carry fixed published prices, Apple has published no promotion on any of them, and none of them changes on Saturday, on September 18, or afterwards. Three other parts of the order do have clocks running.
Those three are the trade-in, the carrier attachment chosen at checkout, and, for anyone also buying an Apple Watch Series 12, the only confirmed launch promotion at any retailer.
| Key fact | Detail |
|---|---|
| Accessory prices | Fixed, $29 to $59 |
| Apple promotion on accessories | None published |
| Trade-in values | Fell on September 9 |
| Apple trade-in credit | Applied at purchase |
| Carrier credit | Paid as bill credits over 36 months |
| Best Buy Watch offer | Up to $325 off, expires 9/18/2026 |
| AppleCare One Family | $49.99 a month, from Monday, September 14 |
| iPhone Duo accessories | Orderable from Friday, October 16 |
What actually has a deadline on Saturday
The trade-in is first, and it moves in the wrong direction. Apple’s trade-in values fell on September 9, the same day the new phones were announced, so waiting to trade in has already cost people money this cycle. Apple publishes the range rather than a table: $175 to $885 in credit in the US for an iPhone 13 or later.

Apple’s credit is applied at purchase. A carrier’s larger headline number is not: it arrives as monthly bill credits spread over 36 months, so it only fully lands if you stay on that carrier and that plan for three years.
The second clock is the carrier choice. Apple’s US buy page offers AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or connecting on your own later, and that selection is made at checkout rather than afterwards.
The accessories have no deadline and no promotion
The six accessories Apple priced for the iPhone 18 Pro are the TechWoven Case at $59, the Clear Case and Silicone Case at $49, the FineWoven Wallet at $59, the Wrist Strap at $29 and the Crossbody Strap at $59. Those are list prices, not launch prices.
Apple runs no general-consumer gift card promotion on iPhone, Apple Watch or AirPods this month. The one Apple gift card offer that is live covers Mac and iPad through the Back to School promotion, and it expires on Thursday, September 24.
| Decision | Clock |
|---|---|
| Trade-in | Values fell September 9, credit applied at purchase |
| Carrier attachment | Chosen at checkout on September 12 |
| Storage, size and colour | Fixed at checkout |
| Cases and straps | No deadline, fixed prices |
| AppleCare One Family | Available from Monday, September 14 |
| Best Buy Watch trade-in offer | Expires 9/18/2026 |
| iPhone Duo case and folio | Orderable from Friday, October 16 |
The one launch promotion with an expiry, and it is not Apple’s
Best Buy is the only retailer with a confirmed launch promotion this month: up to $325 off an Apple Watch Series 12 pre-order with an eligible Apple Watch trade-in, per Best Buy’s own listing, expiring 9/18/2026.
Walmart, Costco and Target have not published offers, which is different from having none. Verizon has published no iPhone 18 Pro offer at all, and AT&T’s own deals page still leads with last year’s Pro Max, so the up to $1,200 trade-in figure people are quoting comes from Apple’s footnotes rather than from either carrier.
The dates that matter after Saturday
- Monday, September 14: iOS 27 arrives free, and AppleCare One Family opens at $49.99 a month for up to six people
- Friday, September 18: iPhone 18 Pro, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 reach stores
- Thursday, September 24: Apple’s Back to School gift card offer ends, and it never covered iPhone
- Friday, September 25: 20 more countries get iPhone 18 Pro
- Friday, October 16: iPhone Duo pre-orders open, and its $79 case and $129 folio become orderable
What has not been confirmed
Apple has not priced a charger or power adapter, has not published a per-device AppleCare+ price for anything it launched in September, and has not published accessory prices in the UK, France, India or Japan. Nothing published suggests an accessory promotion is coming, on iPhone 18 Pro or on the iPhone Duo line.
Pre-orders open on Saturday, September 12 at 5 a.m. PT. Decide the trade-in and the carrier before then, and leave the case for another day if you want to.
