Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Store page carries carrier trade-in wording for AT&T and T-Mobile, both at up to $1,200 paid as monthly bill credits over 36 months. It does not carry a Verizon offer, and Verizon has not published an iPhone 18 Pro launch release, so there is no Verizon launch term to quote yet.
That matters because Apple’s press release makes the claim generically: carrier trade-in deals provide up to $1,200 credit, without naming which carriers. This piece sticks to the figures Apple actually states for the phone and for Apple Watch Series 12, and lists the rest as questions for Verizon.

Which carrier terms Apple actually shows
Two of the three big US carriers appear with a number on Apple’s page. Both advertise the same headline amount, and Apple attaches the same conditions to each: an eligible smartphone trade-in on a qualifying plan, with the value delivered as monthly bill credits over 36 months and the exact amount varying by plan tier and customer type.

Apple Watch Series 12 on a carrier: the numbers Apple gives
Series 12 starts at $399, which Apple’s footnote ties to the 42mm aluminum model, and Apple offers it on an Apple Upgrade lease from $11.99 a month over 24 months. Apple Watch Ultra 4 starts at $799 with a lease from $24.99 a month. Both went up for pre-order on September 9 and reach stores on Friday, September 18.
Apple lists 42mm and 46mm sizes, aluminum, titanium and ceramic cases, and GPS and GPS plus Cellular versions, but its served pages do not show the price of each configuration. What to ask Verizon before September 18
- Whether there is an iPhone 18 Pro trade-in promotion at all, and what its headline figure is.
- How long the credits run, since the AT&T and T-Mobile structure Apple describes is 36 months.
- Which plans qualify, and whether the best number needs a new line rather than an upgrade.
- What your current phone is valued at in Verizon’s system, model by model.
- What the monthly cost of an Apple Watch Series 12 cellular line is, and whether a watch promotion exists.
- Whether the credits survive a plan change, and what is left if you leave early.
What Apple has not said
Apple has published no Verizon offer wording, no carrier plan names, no per-device trade-in values and no carrier terms for Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 or AirPods 5. Apple’s Watch pages also stop short of per-size, per-material and cellular pricing, so the only Watch figures worth quoting today are the $399 and $799 starting prices and the two lease rates.
