Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced during his World Wide Developers Conference keynote presentation that the iPad’s iBooks ebook reader app will get in-book notes support later this month along with the ability to display PDF documents.
According to Mr. Jobs, PDF support was the single biggest request from iBooks users. The updated version of iBooks will include a PDF bookshelf so users can keep their documents organized.
Mr. Jobs added that some 22 percent of all ebooks are going through the iPad now, too.
