The Apple SouthGate store located in Bath, England, is finally welcoming people back inside after being closed for more than three months. It shut its doors on July 4 to undergo major renovations. Now, it is officially set to reopen on Friday, October 23. This upcoming reopening date is quite special because it lines up perfectly with the global launch day for a brand-new iPhone model.

The redesigned store opens alongside a new foldable phone

Before the summer closure, the shop was on the smaller side but featured an updated wood design. With this grand reopening, visitors can expect a redesigned Genius Bar and a dedicated counter for picking up online orders.

Because Apple decided to close a different retail location in nearby Bristol last year, this Bath storefront serves as an important hub for local shoppers.

The timing of the opening event is clearly planned. Shoppers will be able to walk in and test out the highly anticipated iPhone Duo in person on the very first day it hits the market. This refreshed layout should give buyers a much better overall experience as they explore the latest hardware.
