Over weekend iOS users found that the Tumblr iOS app had disappeared from the App Store. As of this writing it’s still not there.

In an announcement, Tumblr only says:

We’re working to resolve an issue with the iOS app and hope to be fully functional again soon. We really appreciate your patience as we figure this out, and we’ll update this article when we have news to share.
Update, 11/18/18, 2:57pm EST: Our team continues to work on the issue with the iOS app, which is our top priority at this time. Thanks for your patience and for checking back here for updates.
People aren’t sure why it was removed, although some suggest it could have been because of “inappropriate content” inside the app.
