The trailer for Apple TV+ comedy series Schmigadoon! dropped Friday. The first two episodes will air on July 16, with subsequent episodes becoming available each following Friday. It stars Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael-Key as a couple who go on a backpacking trip to try and fix their relationship, Instead, they up in a magical town living in a 1940s musical and must find “true love” in order to leave. Alan Cumming, Kristin Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Fred Armisen, Jaime Camil, Jane Krakowski and Ann Harada also star.

Open source RSS reader NetNewsWire released an update on Tuesday that adds features that may be welcome for users: Sync via iCloud, BazQux, Inoreader, NewsBlur, The Old Reader, and FreshRSS, Share extension, Widgets for Today, Unread, and Starred articles, Special support for Reddit and Twitter feeds. So far this has been my favorite RSS reader to use and I enjoyed moving from Feedly to iCloud.

Apple TV+: Official Trailer For Season Two of 'Central Park'
The official trailer for season two of Central Park landed Tuesday. It shows the Tillerman as they live in and care for the famous park, which Bitsy continues to try and take over. Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci all feature in the season, which will land on Apple TV+ on June 25.

Pre-Orders For Playdate Handheld Game System Open in July
Playdate is a small handheld game system filled with original games. Earlier this week the team behind it announced that pre-orders for the device will open in July. It has a black and white screen, WI-Fi, and Bluetooth. It also has a loudspeaker and a crank which serves as an analog controller. Once set up, users get two brand new games every week for 12 weeks. Playdate costs U.S. $179 plus taxes and shipping.

It looks to me like Jennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy leaves/has left the breakfast program, although no doubt there is much to play out! Other items pictured, including Cherry and Palmer have long been available to subscribers. However, it all gives a hint that some announcements and launches could be imminent.
