Reacher Season 4, Episode 8 will arrive on Prime Video on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, closing the eight-episode investigation that began with Anna Merrick’s death on a Philadelphia subway. Prime Video’s official Season 4 guide confirms the September 16 finale date and says the season adapts Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow. Amazon has not published an exact global release time or a detailed Episode 8 synopsis, so specific outcome claims remain unconfirmed before the episode streams.

Episode 7 brings several parts of the mystery together. Post-release accounts identify Lila and Amisha as the central antagonists and connect Sampson to Putra’s death. The closing sequence places Sampson at a charity event where he recognizes an apparent bomber and tackles the person into the water before an explosion.
The episode does not confirm Sampson’s condition after the blast. That makes his survival one of the finale’s immediate questions, alongside Reacher’s effort to shut down the remaining threat. The earlier Episode 5 recap explains how the flash drive and the Hoths moved to the center of the case, while our Episode 4 breakdown tracks the clues that first made their story difficult to trust.
The finale should also resolve the immediate conspiracy rather than carry the same case into another season. Prime Video has already confirmed Season 5, but its official description moves Reacher to Mother’s Rest for a separate missing-person investigation based on Make Me. That supports a clean conclusion for the Philadelphia story, although Amazon has not said which Season 4 characters will survive.
Some listings identify the finale as “Cut,” but that title does not appear in Amazon’s cited public guide. The book may offer clues about the confrontation, yet an adaptation can change victims, survivors and the order of events. Those possibilities should remain separate from what Prime Video has confirmed.
The finale also brings the Neagley premiere
September 16 is also the release date for all eight episodes of Neagley, the spinoff led by Maria Sten as Frances Neagley. Amazon calls it a separate story from the world of Reacher, but it has not confirmed that Episode 8 directly launches the spinoff’s plot.
