Pricing scales based on the product you want to protect. Covering a Mac now starts at $5.49 per month, or you can opt for a yearly rate of $54.99. The totals go up depending on the specific computer model you own.

Less expensive devices come with lower rates. You can cover a HomePod or Apple TV for just $0.99 per month, or $9.99 for a full year.
It is worth noting that paying month to month might eventually cost you more than buying the standard upfront plan. Apple still sells those standard plans in Canada, so you can do the math and pick what fits your budget.
Some premium protection plans remain unavailable for Canadian buyers
Even with these updates, Canadian shoppers are still missing out on a few key options. The company still does not offer its Theft and Loss coverage in Canada. If a phone goes missing, the standard plan will not help replace it.
The bundled multi-device subscription plan also remains missing from the Canadian market. This bundle lets users cover several devices under a single monthly payment in other regions, but it has not crossed the border yet. For now, you will need to manage separate plans for each item you want to protect.
This update gives buyers more flexibility at checkout. Spreading the cost out makes repairs feel like less of a heavy hit on a new purchase. Just keep an eye on how long you keep the subscription active so you avoid overpaying.
