Apple has opened Apple Music Hall inside London’s Battersea Power Station, combining a 600-seat concert room with Spatial Audio recording, broadcast mixing, and multicamera video production. The venue gives artists one place to perform for a close audience and produce a finished release for listeners elsewhere.
In its official announcement, Apple says the room has a 38-foot-wide reconfigurable stage and a 48-speaker spatial sound system. Two recording and mix studios can capture a show as multitrack audio and mix it in Spatial Audio during or after the performance.
A venue built as a production studio
The hall is hardwired for at least 16 cameras connected to a dedicated broadcast control room. Its infrastructure can run iPhone video capture alongside conventional broadcast cameras, giving performers a finished Spatial Audio recording, a broadcast-ready mix, and multicamera footage from one show.

That setup extends the model Apple began with Apple Music Sessions, where artists recorded exclusive performances for Spatial Audio and video. Apple also plans to livestream Apple Music Hall shows globally, rather than limiting them to the audience in Battersea.
Battersea becomes Apple Music’s London base
The room uses Battersea’s brickwork, arches, bronze details, and river views rather than hiding the venue inside a generic black-box studio. Apple says the seating keeps fans close to performers while the technical system provides production resources associated with much larger tours.
Apple Music’s London radio hosts are moving into new studios at Battersea too. The service has been expanding its connection to live events, from concert discovery inside Apple Music to on-demand releases such as Fred again’s Apple Music Live set.
Apple has not announced a permanent public schedule in the press release. Fans can check the Apple Music Hall website for upcoming performances and ticket access, while worldwide viewers will need to watch Apple Music for confirmed livestreams.
