Apple Fitness+ does not carry its own published US monthly price. The only price Apple has attached to it, in the pages reviewed for this article, is $39.95 a month, and that figure belongs to Apple One Premier, the bundle tier where Apple names Fitness+ as an included service.
That distinction matters for anyone trying to work out what Fitness+ alone costs. Apple’s own pages answer a related but different question: what Apple One costs, and which of its three tiers includes Fitness+ by name.
What Apple has actually priced
Apple published three figures on a newsroom page dated September 8, 2026, a Tuesday, one day before its September 9 keynote. The same page does not restate which individual services sit inside Individual or Family. Only Premier gets a named inclusion, and that inclusion is Fitness+.

The $12 gap between Family and Premier
Family costs $27.95 a month and Premier costs $39.95, a difference of $12. Apple’s pages do not state that Fitness+ is the only thing separating the two tiers, only that Fitness+ is the one service Apple names at Premier. Treating the $12 gap as a Fitness+ price would be an assumption this article is not making, because Apple has not confirmed that Fitness+ is the sole addition between the two.
Where a Premier subscription with Fitness+ is actually sold
Apple’s own January 2026 services report states that Individual and Family are available in more than 100 markets, that Premier with Fitness+ reaches more than 20 markets, and that the full Premier bundle, meaning every service Apple lists for Premier, is limited to the US, Canada, Australia and UK. A reader in one of the 20-plus markets with Premier and Fitness+ but outside those four countries may not get every other Premier service. Apple’s report does not specify what, if anything, differs for that group.

What a Fitness+ subscriber gets for that price
Apple’s own pages describe what a Premier subscriber’s $39.95 buys in terms of content rather than a device: access to Fitness+’s catalog, which Apple’s January 2026 report puts past 8,000 workouts and meditations, plus programmes such as the four Apple published in January 2026 and Strong Through Menopause, added at WWDC26 in June. None of that content carries an additional charge once a subscriber is on a tier that includes Fitness+.
Apple structures its other subscription services differently. Apple Arcade, for example, has its own standalone US price of $6.99 a month on the same September 8 newsroom page, alongside a one-month free trial, and that price stands apart from any Apple One tier. Fitness+ has no equivalent line. The only route to a published Fitness+ price that Apple’s own pages confirm is through Apple One Premier, which bundles Fitness+ with whatever other services Apple lists for that tier in a subscriber’s market.
That structure means a reader cannot simply add up an assumed Fitness+ price against Apple Music, Apple TV or iCloud+ prices to test whether Premier is worth it, the way a shopper might with Arcade’s standalone figure. Apple’s pages leave that comparison incomplete by design, since Fitness+ is never offered outside a bundle in the material this article draws on.
Apple’s September 8 pricing page arrived one day before the keynote that introduced the iPhone 18 Pro, the Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch Ultra 4, none of which changed Apple One’s published pricing, according to Apple’s own event recap. Fitness+ itself was not part of that keynote’s announcements at all.
