Apple is expanding iCloud+ in more than 100 countries and regions by adding Apple TV and Apple Arcade to the storage subscription at no extra charge. The change begins rolling out through September, but it is not global, so the price and included services depend on the country or region attached to your Apple Account.

For affected markets, the new package turns an iCloud+ plan into a combination of cloud storage, video streaming, and games. Apple Music is not part of this iCloud+ change, which is important for customers comparing it with Apple One. Existing Apple One subscribers keep their plans where Apple continues to offer them.

What is included with the new iCloud+ offer

  • The iCloud+ storage tier you pay for
  • Apple TV access
  • Apple Arcade access
  • Apple Music Select, a curated music offering in affected markets

Apple says the package can be shared with up to five other family members where Family Sharing is available. Apple Arcade itself supports Family Sharing, and Apple explains that subscribers can play across compatible devices signed in with the same Apple Account in its Apple Arcade support guide.

Where the new bundle is available

The rollout covers more than 100 countries and regions, including several markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. It does not apply everywhere. Apple’s service availability pages remain the best way to check whether Apple TV and Apple Arcade are offered in your region, because catalogs and individual features can differ even within countries where a service is sold.

Apple is also ending direct standalone Apple TV and Apple Arcade subscriptions in some of the affected markets. Existing subscriptions are expected to move without interrupting access, and Arcade game saves should remain in place. Check the subscription section of Settings or the App Store after the rollout reaches your account instead of cancelling anything early.

How this differs from Apple One

Apple One has traditionally grouped Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+ storage for one monthly price. The revised iCloud+ package leaves out the full Apple Music subscription, so it is not a direct replacement for Apple One for listeners who want on-demand music. For people who mainly pay for storage, though, it adds two services they may not have used before.

Before changing plans, confirm the offer shown under your own Apple Account. The current Apple One and Apple TV pricing guide explains the older bundle structure, while Apple’s local store pages show the price that applies to your region.
