Apple is running one identical launch-week offer across every storefront this masthead checked outside the United States. Buy an eligible device in the United Kingdom, India, Germany, France, Japan or Australia and Apple promises three months of selected services free, plus a free one-to-one online Personal Setup session, in nearly matching wording on every page, fetched live on September 13.
The wording sits on the same iPhone 18 Pro buy pages covered in Appleās iPhone 18 Pro announcement, four days after pre-orders opened and five days before the phones reach stores on September 18.
The same sentence, six languages
| Country | Apple’s exact wording | Services named |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | āGet 3 months of selected services free when you purchase an Apple device.ā | Apple TV, Music, Arcade, News+, Fitness+ |
| Japan | āExperience some services free for 3 months when you buy an Apple deviceā (translated) | Apple TV, Music, Arcade, Fitness+ |
| India | āGet 3 months of selected services free when you purchase an Apple device.ā | Music (ā¹139/month after), Fitness+ (ā¹149/month after) |
| Australia | āYou could get 3 months free of selected services when you purchase an eligible device.ā | Apple TV, Music, Arcade, News+, Fitness+ (A$14.99 to A$19.99/month after) |
What the services normally cost once the trial ends
Only two of the six pages checked here name a price for what happens after three months. Indiaās page lists Apple Music at ā¹139 a month and Fitness+ at ā¹149 a month once the trial ends. Australiaās page gives a range instead, A$14.99 to A$19.99 a month depending on the service. The United Kingdom, Germany, France and Japan pages name the same services without naming a renewal price, leaving that figure to each serviceās own page rather than the iPhone 18 Pro buy page.

One offer per Apple Account, not per device
Indiaās page spells out the limit most plainly: āOnly one offer per Apple Account, regardless of the number of eligible devices you purchase,ā valid āfor three months after eligible device activation.ā Every market checked restricts the offer to new subscribers of each service.
Personal Setup is free everywhere, with one condition
The United Kingdom, Germany, France, India and Australia pages carry near-identical wording for the second offer: āWhen you buy directly from Apple, youāll get access to Personal Setup, free online, one-to-one sessions with a Specialist who can help you set up your new iPhone and start your data transfer.ā The condition, stated the same way on all five pages, is buying directly from Apple, not through a carrier or another retailer.
Japan names its carriers on the same page
Japanās buy page separately lists NTT Docomo, au and SoftBank in its own checkout flow, alongside the Personal Setup offer, something the other five storefronts checked here do not show on the buy page itself.
| Country | Personal Setup offer present | Carriers named on Apple’s own buy page |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | Yes | No |
| Germany | Yes | No |
| France | Yes | No |
| India | Yes | No |
| Australia | Yes | No |
| Japan | Yes | Yes (NTT Docomo, au, SoftBank) |
The offer sits next to the same storage and price tiers covered in Appleās iPhone 18 Pro pricing, and it applies whether a buyer chooses an iPhone 18 Pro or the AirPods 5 covered in Appleās AirPods 5 announcement.
What Apple has not said
Apple has not published an end date for the three-month services offer in any of the six markets checked, has not said whether buying through a carrier instead of Apple directly still qualifies, and has not said whether the same terms will apply once the 20 second-wave countries join on September 25, a date noted in Appleās event recap.
The offer was live on all six storefronts as of September 13, five days before iPhone 18 Pro reaches stores on September 18. This masthead will note any change if Apple updates the terms before then.
