The new artificial intelligence agent from Meta is growing at an incredible speed. The application, called Muse, recently passed five million total downloads following a massive push in advertising spending. It achieved this milestone just three weeks after its initial launch in the United States. The software has managed to maintain a solid streak as the most popular free download on mobile phones, beating out some heavy competition.

The new assistant outpaces older chat applications in early growth

According to data gathered by Sensor Tower, the personal AI agent hit the five million mark in only 22 days. This is much faster than ChatGPT and Claude did during their early days. The program held the top spot on the charts for twelve straight days.

Analysts noted that it quickly overtook older chat tools to become the most downloaded free app for both iOS and Android users. The application sits comfortably at the top of the App Store, showing that people are very interested in what it has to offer.

Heavy promotional spending drives the application up the ranking charts

This rapid climb was not just organic growth. Sensor Tower found that the company ranked among the top fifteen brands for advertising impressions in the country during late September. The social media giant poured resources into making sure people saw ads for the new software everywhere they looked.

While reaching millions of users in less than a month is a strong start, the real challenge will be keeping them around. Early numbers do not always show the full picture, but this aggressive rollout shows it wants to lead the new wave of digital assistants.
