Buy two accessories with this launch and wait on the rest: a $49 Clear or Silicone Case with MagSafe, and the $29 wrist strap if you want one. Those sit inside the six accessory prices Apple actually published on September 9, and everything people most want to spend money on next, the charger above all, has no published price at all.
That gap is the whole buying rule here. Apple printed case and strap prices in its press release, and it printed nothing for the MagSafe Charger, the power adapter or a single Apple Watch band across ten storefronts checked. A price you cannot see is a purchase you cannot compare, so it waits.
Key facts: what Apple priced, and the verdict on each
| Accessory | Apple’s US price | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Clear Case with MagSafe | $49 | Buy |
| Silicone Case with MagSafe | $49 | Buy |
| TechWoven Case with MagSafe | $59 | Buy only if you want fabric |
| Wrist Strap | $29 | Buy, the cheapest published item |
| FineWoven Wallet | $59 | Wait unless you carry cards daily |
| Crossbody Strap | $59 | Wait |
| MagSafe Charger and power adapter | Not published | Wait |
| Apple Watch bands, all types | Not published | Wait |
Those six figures are from Apple’s own release, and they travel: the Clear Case and wrist strap are $69 and $39 in Canada, A$79 and A$45 in Australia, 59 euros and 29 euros in Germany, S$75 and S$39 in Singapore, and AED 219 and AED 119 in the UAE.

Why a case comes first
iPhone 18 Pro is an aluminum unibody with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back, rated IP68 to six metres for 30 minutes. That is a tough phone, and the back is now glass-ceramic rather than the textured matte glass of older Pro models, which is the practical reason to spend $49 on day one rather than later.
One thing to check before you reuse an old case: Apple lists iPhone 18 Pro at 150.0 by 71.9 by 8.75 mm, the same three numbers it publishes for iPhone 17 Pro, but it has published no compatibility statement, so a carried-over case is a gamble rather than a saving.
The charger is the biggest unpriced line in the budget
This is the accessory that actually changes how the phone behaves, and it is the one Apple will not price. The headline claim is up to 50 percent in around 15 minutes with a 60W USB-C adapter, sold separately, or 50 percent in 30 minutes with a 35W adapter plus MagSafe. MagSafe and Qi2 both stop at 25W.
In the box, Apple includes the iPhone with iOS 27 and a one metre USB-C cable, and nothing else. Apple’s current 60W-class adapter is listed as the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, and no price for it or for the MagSafe Charger appeared in any of the ten regional storefronts checked. None of the five September 9 press releases lists a charger price either. Until one appears, the fastest charging speed on the phone has an unknown cost.
What is in each box, and what is missing
| Product | What Apple includes | What you still need |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro | iPhone with iOS 27, USB-C cable (1 m) | A power adapter, and a 60W one for the 15-minute claim |
| Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 | Watch, one band, Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable (1 m) | A USB-C power adapter |
| AirPods 5, both versions | Earbuds, charging case, documentation | A USB-C cable and a power adapter |
| iPhone Duo | Not shipping until October 23 | Case at $79 or Folio with Kickstand at $129, from October 16 |
There is one way to spend nothing. The $149 AirPods 5 with the Wireless Charging Case charges over USB-C, an Apple Watch charger or any Qi-certified charger, so an existing watch charger covers it. The $129 version is USB-C only, and neither includes a cable.
Bands, Hermes and iPhone Duo wait by necessity
Every Apple Watch Series 12 band is orderable now and in stores from Friday, September 18, and not one of them carries a price in the content Apple serves: Sport Band, Sport Loop, Milanese Loop, Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, Ocean Band and the whole Hermes range. Apple publishes a $399 starting price for the watch and no per-configuration list for titanium or ceramic either, so a band is the one purchase where there is nothing to compare.
iPhone Duo is the opposite case: the accessories are priced at $79 for the case and $129 for the Folio with Kickstand, but neither can be ordered until October 16. Screen and hinge repair pricing is not published, so the protection maths on the foldable cannot be done yet.
What has not been confirmed
Apple has published no price for the MagSafe Charger, its power adapters, any Apple Watch band, any Hermes item, or per-device AppleCare+ on anything launched in September 2026. It has also published no case compatibility statement between iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro. Everything priced above comes from Apple’s own release and store pages.
iPhone 18 Pro cases and straps ship with the phone on Friday, September 18, alongside Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4, the new bands and AirPods 5. iPhone Duo accessories open for order on Friday, October 16.
