AppleCare One costs from $19.99 a month and covers up to three devices on one plan, and a family version at $49.99 a month becomes available on Monday, September 14, according to Apple’s AppleCare page. Those two figures are the only coverage prices Apple currently publishes for anything it announced on September 9.
The per-product AppleCare+ prices are still missing. Apple’s support pages list the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 in their coverage tables, but the price cells are filled in by the browser rather than served with the page, so a single monthly figure for up to three devices is the one number a buyer can plan against this week.

What the $19.99 plan actually says
Apple describes AppleCare One as one plan covering up to three devices, priced “from $19.99/mo.” The word “from” is Apple’s, and it is doing work: the page gives a floor, not a fixed price.

Apple has not published which device combinations sit at that floor, what a more expensive mix costs, or the price of a fourth device. The page that carries the price also does not spell out whether theft and loss cover is included at either tier.
Individual or family: $19.99 against $49.99
The family tier is $49.99 a month and Apple lists it as available on September 14, the same day iOS 27 ships as a free update. Apple has not said how many devices or how many people that tier covers.
By our arithmetic on Apple’s figures, the individual floor is $239.88 over a year and the family tier is $599.88, so the family plan costs two and a half times the individual one. Whether that trade is worth making depends on a device count Apple has not published.
The three devices most buyers would put on it
Every product from the September 9 announcements reaches stores on Friday, September 18, so a three-device plan is a realistic way to cover a launch-week purchase. Apple’s own prices for those devices are published in full:
- iPhone 18 Pro from $1,199, iPhone 18 Pro Max from $1,299 (Apple’s Store page for the US)
- Apple Watch Series 12 from $399 for the 42mm aluminum GPS model
- Apple Watch Ultra 4 from $799 for the 49mm titanium model
- AirPods 5 at $129, or $149 with the Wireless Charging Case
- iPhone Duo from $1,999, though it is absent from Apple’s AppleCare iPhone table
An iPhone 18 Pro, an Apple Watch Series 12 and a pair of AirPods 5 come to $1,727 of hardware before tax, by our arithmetic on those prices. That is the kind of three-device stack the individual plan is sized for.
Why the per-product AppleCare+ prices are still missing
Apple’s coverage page for iPhone renders its table headers, Monthly and Annually, and the model names, but the price cells are populated client-side and are absent from the content Apple serves. The same is true of the Apple Watch table, where the Series 12, Ultra 4 and Hermes rows exist with empty cells, and of the headphones table, where AirPods 5 appears without a price.
The shop pages do not fill the gap either: neither the iPhone 18 Pro nor the AirPods 5 purchase page shows an AppleCare price, and Apple’s dedicated AppleCare page lists no per-product figures at all. Apple’s support page for AirPods returns an error. Until those cells arrive, AppleCare One is the only published price, which is why it is worth understanding before September 18.

The family tier arrives on Monday, September 14, alongside iOS 27, and the hardware it would cover lands on Friday, September 18, with iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders opening first at 5 a.m. PT on Saturday, September 12.
