The iPhone 18 Pro box contains a phone and a one metre USB-C cable, and nothing else. Everything else Apple sells for it is a separate line on the bill, and the single item that Apple’s own fastest charging claim depends on does not have a published price.
Apple’s US accessory prices for this generation run from $29 to $59, so a realistic first basket adds $50 to $180 to the $1,199 starting price. The gap in that arithmetic is the 60W-class power adapter, which is not priced on any Apple page we were able to read.

What Apple puts in the box
Apple’s tech specs list two items: the iPhone with iOS 27 installed, and a 1 metre USB-C Charge Cable. There is no power brick and no MagSafe puck, which has been true of every iPhone since 2020.
That cable will charge the phone from any USB-C source you already own, including a Mac, an iPad adapter or a car port. What it cannot do by itself is deliver the number Apple puts on the iPhone 18 Pro battery and charging page.
The charger Apple’s 15-minute claim depends on
Apple’s specs say iPhone 18 Pro reaches up to 50 percent in around 15 minutes with a 60W adapter, sold separately. The other routes Apple lists are 50 percent in 30 minutes using a 35W adapter with MagSafe, MagSafe at up to 25W, and Qi2 at up to 25W.
Apple’s current 60W-class unit is listed as the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max. Its price does not appear in the served text of Apple’s product page, and none of the five press releases Apple published on September 9 carry a charger or adapter price. Treat it as a cost you cannot yet size.
The practical point is that an adapter you already own is not wasted. A 30W or 35W USB-C brick still charges the phone, and with a MagSafe Charger the 35W figure is Apple’s own published route to 50 percent in half an hour. Only the 15-minute claim requires the 60W-class adapter.
What the extras add to $1,199
Apple’s US accessory prices for iPhone 18 Pro come from its own launch release, so these are firm. Three common baskets look like this.

Those totals are our arithmetic on Apple’s published US prices. They exclude sales tax and any power adapter, because Apple has not priced one.
Two of the three lines are optional in the strict sense. A case is not required for the IP68 rating or the Ceramic Shield 2 front, both of which Apple lists as properties of the phone itself, as covered in our rundown of everything Apple confirmed about iPhone 18 Pro.
What that total still does not include
- Sales tax. On a $1,199 phone at an 8 percent rate that is $95.92, which is our arithmetic. Delaware, New Hampshire and Oregon charge no sales tax at all, while Alaska and Montana allow local rates.
- The connectivity discount. Apple’s $30 carrier discount is published for iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 only. There is no published connectivity discount on iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max.
- Coverage. AppleCare One is $19.99 a month for up to three products. Apple has not published a per-device AppleCare+ price for any product it launched in September 2026.
- Carrier credits. The up to $1,200 figure in Apple’s footnotes is monthly bill credits over 36 months on a qualifying plan. It is applied to the phone, not to accessories, and you forfeit the remainder if you leave early.
What has not been confirmed
Apple has not published a price for the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, for the MagSafe Charger, or for any adapter in the ten regional stores we checked. It has also not published iPhone 18 Pro accessory prices for the UK, France, India or Japan, where the launch release pages did not resolve.
Nothing Apple has published suggests a bundle price either. There is no accessory promotion attached to the iPhone 18 Pro pre-order, and no general consumer gift card offer on iPhone this month.
Pre-orders open at 5 a.m. PT on Saturday, September 12, with the phone in stores on Friday, September 18.
