iPhone Duo comes with a phone, iOS 27.1 and a one metre USB-C cable, and nothing else. The two accessories Apple has priced are the iPhone Duo Case at $79 and the iPhone Duo Folio with Kickstand at $129, and the accessory that actually changes how the phone behaves day to day, a power adapter, is the one Apple has not put a price on.
That ordering is the whole point of this article. On a $1,999 phone the case is a taste decision and the charger is a performance one, and only one of them has a number attached.

The charger is the purchase Apple has not priced
Apple’s own charging claims for iPhone Duo all depend on hardware sold separately. It quotes 50 percent in about 20 minutes with a 60W USB-C adapter, or about 30 minutes with a 35W adapter plus MagSafe, with MagSafe and Qi2 wireless both rated up to 25W and wireless reaching 50 percent in about 30 minutes.

The catch is that the adapter which unlocks the headline figure is unpriced. Apple’s current 60W-class unit is listed as the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, and no price for it appears on any page we could read, in any of ten regional storefronts. The MagSafe charger is in the same position. If you already own a 60W USB-C adapter, this line of the budget is zero. If you do not, it is a number nobody can give you yet, and the same gap applies to iPhone 18 Pro’s charging claims.
Case at $79, Folio at $129, and what separates them
The Case is a two-part protective shell in sand and navy blue. The Folio adds an integrated kickstand and comes in navy blue and taupe. Both can be ordered from October 16 and both cost the same in the UK, at 79 pounds and 129 pounds.

The kickstand deserves a harder look than the extra $50 usually gets. Apple’s own pitch is that the Duo poses itself, with iOS responding to StandBy, landscape, portrait, seated and standing positions, so the hinge already props the phone up. The Folio is buying a second way to do something the phone does unaided, and it is worth the money only if the angles you actually use are ones the hinge cannot hold.
There is a physical cost too. Closed, the Duo is 11.3 mm thick and weighs 254 g, which is already the heaviest iPhone Apple sells. Every case adds to both numbers on a device whose entire argument is that it folds into a pocket.
What a case does not protect
Apple’s durability claims cover the outside, and that is where a case is least needed. The frame and hinge cover are Grade 5 titanium, the outer display is Ceramic Shield 2 with three times better scratch resistance, the back is Ceramic Shield, and the whole phone is IP68 rated to a maximum depth of six metres for up to 30 minutes.
The inner display is the part a case cannot reach. Apple describes it as a custom polymer with 40 percent higher stiffness than the industry standard, layered over high-strength glass, with a scratch-resistant coating and a nano-texture finish. It is protected by being folded away rather than by anything you can buy, and neither the Case nor the Folio covers the hinge.
The repair bill nobody can price yet
Apple has published no screen or hinge repair price for iPhone Duo, and no per-device AppleCare+ price for it either. The only Apple coverage with a published price for this launch is AppleCare One, at $19.99 a month for up to three products, plus $5.99 a month for each device beyond three, with AppleCare One Family at $49.99 a month arriving on September 14.
By our arithmetic on Apple’s figure, AppleCare One is $239.88 a year. Set against an unpriced folding-display repair, that is the accessory spend with the clearest argument behind it, and unlike a case it is a subscription you keep paying.
What has not been confirmed
Apple has not published prices for the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max or the MagSafe charger in any region, a repair price for the Duo display or hinge, per-device AppleCare+ pricing, accessory weights, or a firm date for Apple Pencil support beyond later in 2026.
