I’m unhappy with all the gratuitous GUI changes.
Changing the default sound on an alarm is stupid for anyone that actually has used alarms to wake up at 5AM. Having to (re)set the default alarm on every timer is silly. And replacing the “turn off” button on alarms with a “repeat” button is another mistake. I don’t think I’ll ever use “repeat” but had to slide a slider over to turn it off. And that’s just the Clock app. I’ll stop there.
And please Apple, we don’t want to be told to enable Apple Pay with every update. With no obvious way to say “skip”, one needs to “pretend” to set it up, quit when it asks for cards and hope that works.

I wish the time was bolder
I have been a long standing Apple user but hate what they have done with the new look iOS 26. I’m not into gaming but I feel that is who they are pandering to.
New look is attractive. Glitches are more than an annoying problem, especially do not disturb does not sync with the clock! Email app has too many new steps for older users.
I hate the elongated time on the lock screen – surely this should be optional – bring back the fixed size font..!!
It was a terrible mistake to update to iOS 26. It changed information of mine. It changed how to find it without advising me that there was a change. I had to explore and explore and explore justifying things. At times, it tries to make me update my Apple account and the screen will not go away. It comes back every 2 to 3 seconds making the phone unusable. I’ve even updated the account and it still comes back and comes back and comes back. It is sucking my battery dry very fast. There’s data. I haven’t been able to find. I’m having difficulty sending texts anymore. It’s very slow sometimes to get between screens. My phone was working fine before the update. I am very unhappy with this update. It’s a mistake for anybody to take this update. Wait for all the whiners like me to stop in for Apple to fix what they screwed up and then update.
