Ted’s first meeting with the stage manager in Episode 5 gives him a connection outside football. Published coverage identifies Charlotte Riley as the performer, but Apple has not published the character’s name or described her as Ted’s love interest. Their conversation supports the possibility of another meeting without guaranteeing one.
Episode 6 then turns Ted back toward his family. Michelle makes him a new Believe sign after they discuss the effect of their divorce. The gesture shows care and understanding, although it does not confirm that Michelle wants to restore their marriage. Ted can value that relationship while still accepting that their lives have changed.
Moving on may therefore involve more than choosing between two women. Ted has spent much of the series helping other people build confidence while avoiding direct attention to his own needs. Stepping outside his comfort zone could mean acknowledging loneliness, making Richmond feel like home again, or becoming open to a relationship that does not recreate his past.

Zelda also helps with what Apple calls a new problem at Richmond. That plot may keep the episode grounded in the club even as Ted considers his private life. The nature of the problem has not been published.
