Apple is reportedly preparing three products that would end unusually long waits: a redesigned touchscreen Mac notebook, a new Apple TV 4K and a smart home display. Apple has not announced any of them, so the product names, specifications and timing remain subject to change.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reported on the touchscreen MacBook project and a design using an OLED display and Dynamic Island. Current reporting points to a high-end model, but Apple has not confirmed whether it will use the MacBook Pro name or another brand.
The redesign would be more significant than a routine chip refresh because Apple has long kept direct touch input on iPad rather than Mac. Reports also point to a thinner design and M6-class hardware, but final configurations and prices are unknown.

Apple’s home products have waited even longer
The current Apple TV 4K dates to 2022. A replacement is expected to add a faster chip and support for Apple’s newer Siri AI work, although Apple has not published a specification sheet or launch date. MacObserver’s Apple TV report explains why Siri is believed to be central to the refresh.
The third product is a smart home display, commonly described in reports as HomePad. It is expected to combine a screen, speaker, camera and Apple home controls, but that nickname is not an announced product name. The unanswered questions include its final design, supported apps, price and whether it launches beside new HomePod hardware.
Apple’s existing HomePod documentation covers today’s music, smart-home and personal-request features. A separate MacObserver report notes that Apple has not confirmed Siri AI for HomePod, so buyers should not assume existing speakers will gain every function expected from new hardware.
All three products may appear in Apple’s next hardware wave, but “reportedly close” is the accurate status. Anyone buying now should judge current devices on features available today rather than an unannounced October deadline.
