Apple’s September 9 event produced the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5. It did not produce a standard iPhone 18, an iPhone 18e, an iPhone Air 2, a Mac, a new Apple TV 4K or a new HomePod, and Apple’s own pages are the proof: none of those products has a new page, a new badge or a new date.
The absences are facts. The timing is not. Apple has not announced a date, an event or a product for any of them, and it does not comment on future products, so anything you read about when they arrive is expectation rather than confirmation. The iPhones that were not there
The cleanest evidence is Apple’s own iOS 27 device list. It runs iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro, then straight to iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e. There is no iPhone 18, no iPhone 18e and no iPhone Air 2 anywhere on it.

That leaves the carry-over models doing the work below the Pro line. Apple’s shop page lists the iPhone 17 from $899, a figure that includes a $30 carrier connectivity discount, with the 256GB model at $929, and the iPhone Air from $1,099. The cheapest new iPhone announced on September 9 was the $1,199 iPhone 18 Pro, which is $100 more than the iPhone 17 Pro it replaces.

No Macs, no Apple TV 4K, no HomePod
- Apple TV 4K: the product page still sells the A15 Bionic model in 64GB Wi-Fi and 128GB Wi-Fi plus Ethernet, with no new badge and no new date.
- HomePod mini: the page still describes the S5 chip and the same five finishes, white, yellow, orange, blue and midnight.
- Mac: no new Mac page appeared, and the most recent Mac announcement on Apple’s newsroom remains the August 25, 2026 batch, which brought the Mac Studio with M5 Max and M5 Ultra and the Mac mini with M6 and M5 Pro.
- No new iPad, AirTag, Vision, Studio Display or smart-home hub page appeared either.
Reporting before the event expected refreshed home and TV hardware built around Apple’s new assistant. The assistant shipped anyway: Siri AI arrives in beta with iOS 27 on Monday, September 14, in English first, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish in October. After October 30 there is nothing on Apple’s published hardware calendar. That is the honest read on timing: the launch cycle Apple has committed to already runs into November, and it contains no cheaper iPhone, no Mac and no home device. The iPhone Duo is the last confirmed arrival.
What Apple has not said
Apple has not confirmed that a standard iPhone 18, an iPhone 18e or an iPhone Air 2 exists, has not named a spring event, has not given a date for a new Apple TV 4K, HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple Watch SE, and has not said whether any of them arrives in 2027 at all. Reporting ahead of the keynote pointed to the rest of the iPhone line landing in the first half of 2027, but that is an expectation with no Apple statement behind it.
The next dated moment is Monday, September 14, when iOS 27 ships, followed by the September 18 launch day. If any of the missing products gets a page, a badge or a date, it will appear on Apple’s own site first, and that is the only place worth checking.
