The fastest way to charge iPhone Duo is a 60W USB-C adapter, which Apple says takes the phone to 50 percent in about 20 minutes. A 35W adapter paired with MagSafe gets there in about 30 minutes, and MagSafe, Qi2 and Qi-certified wireless chargers, all capped at 25W, also reach 50 percent in about 30 minutes.
None of those adapters is in the box. Apple’s tech specs list the phone with iOS 27.1 and a 1 m USB-C cable as the full contents, so the charging speed you get depends entirely on what you already own, and the numbers below come from Apple’s tech specs and press release, with the rest of the spec sheet in our iPhone Duo vs iPhone 18 Pro comparison.

Apple quotes three time-to-50-percent figures for the Duo, and they cluster into two tiers: 20 minutes on a 60W cable, and 30 minutes for everything else. Apple has not published full-charge times for any method.

Why 60W is the number that matters
Apple’s fastest figure requires a 60W adapter, which is more than the 35W tier it quotes for the slower wired option. Apple has not said what wattage the Duo actually draws on that adapter, whether a 30W or 45W adapter lands somewhere in between, or whether anything above 60W makes a difference.
The 35W figure is worded as a 35W adapter plus MagSafe. Apple’s tech specs do not spell out whether that means the two are used together or that a 35W adapter on its own and a MagSafe puck both produce the same 30-minute result, so treat it as Apple’s way of saying anything short of 60W wired lands in the 30-minute tier.

Wireless charging: MagSafe and Qi2 at 25W
Both MagSafe and Qi2 top out at 25W on the Duo, and Apple lists standard Qi-certified chargers as a third option at an unpublished rate. Apple has not said whether the phone charges wirelessly while open, or whether the MagSafe magnets sit in one half or both.
Apple’s own accessories for the Duo are a two-part iPhone Duo Case at $79 in sand and navy blue, and an iPhone Duo Folio with an integrated kickstand at $129 in navy blue and taupe. Apple has not published whether either case is MagSafe-compatible or whether the Folio kickstand is designed for charging in StandBy.
