The iPhone 18 Pro comes out on Friday, September 18, 2026, with pre-orders opening Saturday, September 12 at 5 a.m. PT. Apple announced both models on September 9, and a second group of 20 countries gets the phones a week after the first wave, on Friday, September 25.

That is the same September cadence Apple has followed for years, and it matches what our pre-order expectations piece predicted before the keynote. Our iPhone 18 Pro announcement coverage covers the phone itself, from the A20 Pro chip to the new Burgundy and Glacier finishes.

What arrives on September 18 and what does not

September 18 is the delivery date for both the 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro and the 6.9-inch iPhone 18 Pro Max, starting at $1,199 and $1,299 for 256GB. AirPods 5 reach stores the same day, having gone up for pre-order on September 9.

  • iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max: pre-order September 12, in stores September 18
  • AirPods 5: pre-order now, in stores September 18
  • iOS 27: September 14, ahead of the phones shipping
  • iPhone Duo: October, according to the keynote; Apple has not published a firm date
  • Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4: announced, no dates confirmed yet

If you are waiting on Apple’s foldable rather than the Pro, the iPhone Duo is the one without a confirmed date. Apple said October on stage but has not put a day on it, and the starting price of about $2,000 is likewise keynote-only for now.

Will there be an iPhone 18 later this year?

No. Apple did not announce a standard iPhone 18, an iPhone 18e or an iPhone Air 2 at the September event, and reports point to spring 2027 for those models. The Pro pair and the Duo are the only new iPhones this fall.

The next date to watch is September 12 for pre-orders. Apple has not said how quickly early delivery slots will fill, so ordering close to 5 a.m. PT is the safest route to a September 18 delivery.
