Apple’s India Store page lists the iPhone 18 Pro at EMI from ₹26,316 a month for the 256GB model, rising to ₹51,317 a month for 2TB, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max from ₹28,817 to ₹53,817 a month. The page also advertises up to six months of No Cost EMI and up to ₹7,000 instant cashback with eligible cards.
Those two offers explain the monthly figures. Apple does not print the formula, but every EMI number on the page matches the list price minus ₹7,000, divided by six. Our iPhone 18 Pro price explainer covers the US figures; this piece is about what the Indian plan costs month to month.

Take the base iPhone 18 Pro. ₹1,64,900 minus ₹7,000 is ₹1,57,900, and ₹1,57,900 divided by six is ₹26,316.67, which Apple shows as ₹26,316. The 2TB Pro Max follows the same path: ₹3,29,900 minus ₹7,000 is ₹3,22,900, divided by six is ₹53,816.67, shown as ₹53,817. The six-payment totals in the table land within ₹4 of the discounted price in every row, which is rounding.
What No Cost EMI and the ₹7,000 cashback mean
No Cost EMI means the instalments add up to the price rather than the price plus interest, which is why six times ₹26,316 comes to ₹1,57,896 and not something higher. Apple’s page says the offer runs up to six months, so the figures above are the shortest and cheapest reading of the deal; Apple has not published figures for any longer term.
The ₹7,000 instant cashback is what turns ₹1,64,900 into ₹1,57,900 in the arithmetic above. Apple’s page ties both offers to eligible cards, and it does not list which banks or cards qualify, so the ₹26,316 figure is a floor rather than a guarantee. Without the cashback, ₹1,64,900 over six months would be ₹27,483.33 a month, about ₹1,167 more per instalment.

How much each upgrade adds per month
Because every tier gets the same ₹7,000 off and the same six-month split, the storage steps divide neatly. On the iPhone 18 Pro, the ₹25,000 jump from 256GB to 512GB becomes ₹4,167 a month (₹30,483 minus ₹26,316). The ₹50,000 jump to 1TB adds ₹8,334 a month, and the ₹75,000 jump to 2TB adds ₹12,500 a month.
The Pro Max costs ₹15,000 more than the Pro at every tier, which is ₹2,501 a month at 256GB (₹28,817 minus ₹26,316) and ₹2,500 at each of the others. That is a smaller monthly step than any storage upgrade, so the 6.9-inch screen and Apple’s 45-hour video playback rating are the cheapest way up the ladder. How India’s six months compare with the UK and US
Apple’s UK Store page splits the same phones over 30 months at 0 percent APR, from £39.96 a month for the 256GB Pro, and Apple’s US press release quotes $49.95 a month over 24 months. India’s plan is the shortest of the three by a wide margin, which is why the monthly figures are so much larger relative to the list price: one sixth of the price each month rather than one twenty-fourth or one thirtieth.
