The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come in four storage sizes: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and, for the first time on an iPhone, 2TB. The base 256GB model starts at $1,199 for the Pro and $1,299 for the Pro Max.
Apple’s press release names all four tiers but lists prices only for the 256GB models, so the cost of stepping up to 2TB is not yet known. The new top tier arrives alongside a camera system that produces bigger files than before, which is the main reason it exists. Here is everything Apple announced for the iPhone 18 Pro.

Apple also lists monthly pricing for the base models: $49.95 a month for 24 months for the iPhone 18 Pro and $54.12 a month for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Monthly pricing for the higher tiers has not been published either.

Who the 2TB iPhone 18 Pro is for
The camera and video features Apple announced are the strongest argument for the top tier. The 48MP Fusion main camera, 4K Dolby Vision HDR time-lapse and Cinematic effects at up to 60 fps are the kind of content that fills storage quickly.
Apple Reference Image adds to that. The feature stores an untouched original with verification metadata alongside any edits, so an edited photo keeps a second copy on the phone.
- 256GB: the starting point on both models and the only tier with a published price
- 512GB: a middle step for people who shoot a lot of 48MP photos and 4K video
- 1TB: for large video libraries kept on the phone rather than in the cloud
- 2TB: new this year, for anyone who wants a full Dolby Vision HDR video archive in their pocket
What Apple has not said about storage pricing
Apple’s press release does not include prices for the 512GB, 1TB or 2TB tiers on either model. Those figures should appear on Apple’s online store when pre-orders open, and we will update our coverage when they do.
The $100 increase over the iPhone 17 Pro applies to the 256GB base models. Whether the same gap holds at higher tiers is not confirmed, so treat any pre-event price estimates for the larger configurations as unverified.
