Apple has published the price of the iPhone Duo, its two cases, two ways to pay for it and the three months of Apple One that come with it. It has not published what AppleCare+ costs on this phone, what any repair to it costs, what a carrier will offer for it, or what your old iPhone is worth against it.
On a first-generation foldable those four blanks are the ones most likely to matter, because three of them attach to a hinge and a folding panel that nobody outside Apple has used. The workable approach is to total the published half exactly and hold back a margin for the half that is not priced yet.

The four costs Apple has not priced

That last row is the one people get wrong. The $885 ceiling describes the best case for the newest, flawless phone, and the values recorded for individual models fell on September 9, the day Apple announced the whole lineup. Treat it as a range until Apple’s estimator gives you a figure.

The adapter is not in the box, and the charging claims assume one
Apple’s box contains the phone and a 1 m USB-C cable. The published charging figures are up to 50 percent in around 20 minutes with a 60W-capable adapter, or around 30 minutes with a 35W adapter plus MagSafe, and MagSafe and Qi2 both stop at 25W. Every one of those adapters is sold separately, so a first-generation buyer who wants the fastest published charge has to add one. What to do with the blanks
- Total the published side for your configuration first: the phone, any case, and the financing route you intend to use.
- Decide coverage on the numbers that exist. AppleCare One at $19.99 a month and AppleCare One Family at $49.99 a month are published; per-device AppleCare+ for the Duo is not.
- Do not pencil in a repair figure. There is no honest number to use, and the answer to an unpriced repair on a first-generation device is coverage rather than an estimate.
- Treat trade-in as a range. Apple applies its credit instantly, while carrier credit arrives as bill credits across 24 to 36 months, so the larger headline only fully lands if you stay on that carrier and plan.
- Remember the lease is not a purchase. Apple Upgrade is provided by Klarna, requires selecting a carrier, does not include AppleCare, and Apple’s own terms warn of a substantial charge for ending it early.

What has not been confirmed
Apple has not published a per-device AppleCare+ price for the iPhone Duo, any repair price, any carrier promotion, or per-model trade-in values. It has also not published an unlocked price or a connectivity discount for the Duo, in the way it prices the iPhone 18 Pro at $1,199 with a carrier selected. Prices outside the ten storefronts Apple lists are not published either, and Apple never publishes stock.
AppleCare One Family becomes available Monday, September 14. iPhone Duo pre-orders open Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT, with the case and folio orderable the same day, and the phone ships Friday, October 23.
