iPhone Duo starts at C$2,999 for the 256GB model in Canada and tops out at C$4,799 for 2TB, according to Apple’s Store page for Canada. Pre-orders open on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT, and the phone is available from Friday, October 23.
That entry price is C$1,100 more than the C$1,899 iPhone 18 Pro Max and C$1,250 more than the C$1,749 iPhone 18 Pro, both of which ship on September 18. Apple’s Canadian page lists all four storage tiers and both colours, Star White and Night Sky, but no monthly payment figure.

| Storage | Price in Canada | Step up from previous tier |
|---|---|---|
| 256GB | C$2,999 | Base |
| 512GB | C$3,299 | +C$300 |
| 1TB | C$3,899 | +C$600 |
| 2TB | C$4,799 | +C$900 |
The shape matches the US ladder, where the steps are $200, $400 and $600 for a $1,200 spread between the $1,999 and $3,199 iPhone Duo tiers. In Canada each step is larger in local currency, and the total spread is C$1,800.
Storage is the only configuration choice Apple offers. Both colours cost the same, and every tier has the same A20 Pro chip, 7.6-inch inner display and 48MP Dual Fusion camera system, per Apple’s tech specs.
How the Canadian price compares with iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
Apple sells three new iPhones in Canada this autumn, and the fold premium over the largest non-folding model is a flat C$1,100 at every tier.
| Storage | iPhone 18 Pro | iPhone 18 Pro Max | iPhone Duo | Duo premium over Pro Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 256GB | C$1,749 | C$1,899 | C$2,999 | C$1,100 |
| 512GB | C$2,049 | C$2,199 | C$3,299 | C$1,100 |
| 1TB | C$2,649 | C$2,799 | C$3,899 | C$1,100 |
| 2TB | C$3,549 | C$3,699 | C$4,799 | C$1,100 |
In the US the same gap is $700, so Canadian buyers pay a larger fold premium in local currency. Apple has not published the reasoning behind any country’s pricing, and the figures above are simply what each Store page lists.
What the C$1,100 buys, per Apple’s product page and press release: a 7.6-inch inner display that Apple says is 50 percent larger than the Pro Max screen, a 5.4-inch outer display, a Grade 5 titanium frame, Touch ID in the side button and a dual battery rated for up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer display. What it gives up: the Pro Max’s 4x tetraprism telephoto, its variable-aperture main camera and Face ID. Our iPhone Duo vs iPhone 18 Pro Max comparison walks through the full spec sheet.
Financing and monthly payments in Canada
Apple’s Store page for Canada references Affirm for financing but shows no monthly figure for any iPhone Duo tier. The Canadian page for iPhone 18 Pro is the same: prices per tier, no monthly breakdown.
For reference, Apple’s US press release quotes $83.29 per month for 24 months on the 256GB model, and Apple’s US product page lists an Apple Upgrade lease from $57.99 per month over 24 months. In the UK, Apple’s Store page shows Ā£66.63 per month at 0 percent APR over 30 months. Apple has not published a Canadian equivalent for any of these, so the US monthly options are the only per-model figures Apple has put in writing.
Pre-order time and launch date in Canada
Apple’s Store page for Canada gives the pre-order start as 5:00 a.m. PT on Friday, October 16, which is 8 a.m. in Toronto and Montreal. That is the same moment pre-orders open in the US, and it follows the pattern Apple used for iPhone 18 Pro, which opens at 5 a.m. PT on September 12.
Apple’s press release names Canada among the more than 70 countries and regions where iPhone Duo is available on Friday, October 23, with 28 more countries and regions following on Friday, October 30. Orders go through apple.com/ca, the Apple Store app, Apple Store locations, select carriers and partner stores.
iPhone Duo is eSIM only in every country, with dual eSIM, two active lines and storage for eight or more. Canada was already on Apple’s eSIM-only list for iPhone 18 Pro, so Canadian buyers moving from a recent iPhone will not find anything new here. The phone ships with iOS 27.1 rather than iOS 27, per Apple’s press release.
