Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 2 is scheduled to arrive on Apple TV on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, one week after the new season begins. Apple has not published an Episode 2 title, runtime or synopsis, so a detailed account of what happens after the premiere is not yet available.
Season 6 Episode 1 does not stream until September 16, which means any claim about its ending or a specific Episode 2 cliffhanger would be speculation. The dependable preview comes from Apple’s season-wide premise, confirmed cast and the two Mick Herron novels being adapted.

Apple’s official Season 6 announcement says the Slow Horses are on the run as Diana Taverner involves them in a deadly game of retaliation and revenge. Episode 2 should continue that central conflict after the premiere establishes who is under threat and why, although Apple has not confirmed those episode-level details.
Gary Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb with Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar and other familiar performers. Our Season 6 cast and release guide lists the announced ensemble without assuming how much screen time each character receives.
Olivia Cooke also returns as Sid Baker, while Lenny Rush joins the cast. Apple has released images of Sid with River Cartwright and Rush with Roddy Ho, but the pictures do not establish where those scenes fall in the season. The trailer’s major character returns offer context without revealing Episode 2’s plot.
The books offer themes, not a confirmed recap
Season 6 combines Joe Country and Slough House. The publisher describes stories involving painful memories inside the team, conflict around Taverner and former Slow Horses becoming targets. Those ideas match Apple’s retaliation premise, but the adaptation can reorder characters, deaths and discoveries.
The weekly release plan also means Episode 2 will be the first installment viewers approach with knowledge of the premiere. Once Episode 1 is available, Apple may update its episode page with a title, runtime and short description. Until then, season-level material is the only confirmed basis for a preview.
Viewers should therefore wait for the premiere before treating any Episode 2 theory as a direct continuation. Even positive advance reviews, covered in our Season 6 review roundup, do not replace an official episode synopsis.
