The Apple Retail Store likely has your iPhone 3GS in stock. You can check the most up-to-date availability right here. Shipments of iPhone 3GS arrive most days and availability is updated hourly.

I was waiting for the page to be revived. What a marked difference in availability compared to last year at this time and the year before.

By Sunday morning….there were red ?sold out? lights for selected 3GS models in all but six states.

By Sunday morning….there were red ?sold out? lights for selected 3GS models in all but six states.
But availability is significantly better than last year at this time and the year before. The item showing the most shortages is the white 16GB model which is most likely the one in least demand.

iPhone 3GS is currently out of stock:
Due to the phenomenal demand for the new iPhone 3GS, we’ve temporarily run out of stock online, over the phone and in our retail stores.We expect additional stock of the new iPhone 3G S to be available online, over the phone and in our retail stores at the end of this week.

For our Canadian friends
As of this week, many Rogers/Fido outlets nationally are completely sold out of their iPhone 3GS stock in both capacities, so if you were planning on picking up the iPhone 3GS in the next little while, you may be out of luck. While there are a few stores that still have remaining stock of the iPhone 3GS, many are completely sold out. Apple Store however are fully stocked, as expected.
