There are many programs for Windows that allow you to monitor and record internet activity, keystrokes, passwords, web sits etc.  I cannot find any that will run on a Mac.  I need one to run hidden to 1) catch a cheating spouse and 2) monitor where my kids go when they bypass their parental restrictions.  I have searched for weeks in vain. oes anyone know of something I can use?

Thanks

I did a search for “internet” on www.versiontracker.com and found this: Content Barrier .  I hope this helps!

Hey John,

For recording keystrokes try here or you can also get something here (you’ll likely have to pay for this one or else it’ll beep at you). I’ve never used either of these programs, so I don’t know how well they work. Your mileage may vary.

Hope this helps

Yeah… the spouse thing is what’s got me.  There are probably better ways to try and deal with this.

Yes, but these days they’ll land you in jail (unless you are a former Heisman Trophy winner).

Jeeez…that’s about one of the most depressing tech questions I’ve ever read.

I may be out of line for saying so, but it seems to me that if someone has so little trust in their spouse that they feel compelled to go to this extreme, the marriage is already kaput regardless of whether the spouse is cheating or not.

In fact, the cheating factor becomes secondary at that point, I’d say.

Of course, I’m not married so who am I to say?

I made a moral judgement not to respond and try to interfere with this man’s life, or offer any advice.  If he had wanted our advice he would have asked for it.  I responded to his request, and I think that is all we should do.

This is certainly a depressing thread all the way around.

Tbone1, that was an appalling post.  Seriously.

BlueDjinn’s comments are right on track IMO.

We are nearing Final Candidate status for Siberia, unfortunately.

I know a guy who’s a detective. He once said that if you suspect your spouse of cheating, 95% of the time the spouse is cheating.
