The iPhone 18 Pro carries two separate pieces of AI hardware inside the A20 Pro, and only one of them has a number attached. iPhone 18 Pro Shoots 4K at 25 and 100 fps: The Two Frame Rates for 50 Hz Countries
The iPhone 18 Pro records 4K Dolby Vision video at 24, 25, 30, 60, 100 or 120 frames per second, and two of those six numbers exist for one region rather than one purpose. Broadcast and streaming delivery across most of the world outside North America runs at 25 frames per second, so Apple’s list…
iPhone 18 Pro Cost of Ownership Outside the US: A Price, a Finance Plan and No Coverage Figure
Every coverage price Apple has published for this launch is a US price. AppleCare One is $19.99 a month for up to three products with $5.99 for each device after that, and AppleCare One Family is $49.99 a month from September 14. Outside the US, a buyer ordering an iPhone 18 Pro today has a…
iPhone 18 Pro Pro Controls: Apple Lists Four Manual Tools, and ISO Is Not One of Them
Apple describes Pro controls as a new customizable experience in the iPhone 18 Pro Camera app, with manual adjustment of lens aperture, shutter speed and white balance, plus a histogram for checking exposure. That is four items, and the one photographers will notice is missing: ISO appears nowhere in Apple’s published description. Aperture is one…
iPhone 18 Pro Max: Five Minutes of Charging, Seven Hours of Video, and No Figure for the Smaller Pro
Buried in Apple’s September 9 announcement is the only iPhone charging claim this year written in hours rather than percentages: five minutes on a cable gives the iPhone 18 Pro Max about seven hours of video playback. Apple published no equivalent figure for the 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro, and none for wireless charging on either…
iPhone 18 Pro Picks Its Own Aperture: The Three Scenes Apple Says Move the Blades
Most iPhone 18 Pro owners will never open the manual aperture control, and Apple has designed for that. Its announcement says the camera can adjust the aperture on its own, and it names three situations: f/1.48 for low light, f/1.8 for portraits, and f/4 for group photos with greater depth of field. The wide end…
iPhone 18 Pro Loses 3 Hours When the Video Streams, and the Pro Max Loses 5
Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro for up to 36 hours of video playback and up to 33 hours of streamed video, and the Pro Max for 45 and 40. Streaming costs the smaller phone 3 hours and the larger one 5, and Apple publishes both numbers without ever explaining the difference. iPhone 18 Pro…
iPhone 18 Pro's Six Laser-Cut Blades: How Apple Fits a Moving Aperture Inside a Phone
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro main camera has a physical aperture that moves. Six laser-cut blades open and close behind the 48MP Fusion main lens, and Apple’s tech specs list four marked positions for them: f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0. The 48MP Fusion main camera is the only lens on iPhone 18 Pro with a moving…
Can You Pre-Order Two iPhone 18 Pros? The Only Published Limit Is in Singapore
Two people in one household both want an iPhone 18 Pro when pre-orders open at 5 a.m. PT today, and the obvious question is whether Apple will let one of them order both. The only per-customer limit Apple publishes anywhere for these models is on its Singapore store page, which caps buyers at two iPhone…
Apple Intelligence's Third Tier Holds Two Features, and Only Six iPhones Get Them
Apple Intelligence has a tier above the full feature set, and Apple names exactly two features in it: Siri voice customization, which adjusts pitch, speed, tone and accent, and an improved on-device Dictation model. Six iPhones qualify. iOS 27 arrives Monday, September 14, with the Apple Intelligence feature set split across hardware tiers. Image: Apple…

Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro at up to 24 hours of typical use, up to 36 hours of video playback and up to 33 hours of streamed video, and the Pro Max at 30, 45 and 40 hours. Every one of those numbers measures the phone playing video back. None of them measures the…
iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 17 Pro for Video: Apple Lists the Same Four Capabilities on Both
Read Apple’s comparison page one row at a time and the video line for iPhone 18 Pro says 4K Dolby Vision up to 120 fps, ProRes RAW, Genlock and Apple Log 2. The video line for iPhone 17 Pro says the same four things. On the formats a phone can record, Apple is claiming no…
iPhone 18 Pro's 20 Second-Wave Countries: Apple Published the Date, Not the List
Apple’s press release says iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max “will be available in 20 other countries and regions beginning Friday, September 25”. It has not named a single one of them, and it has not said when those markets can pre-order. iPhone 18 Pro reaches more than 65 countries on September 18.…
Apple India Publishes a ₹15,000 Cashback Ceiling, and It Is Not ₹15,000 Off an iPhone 18 Pro
Apple India’s Ways to Buy page advertises instant cashback of up to ₹15,000 on eligible cards. That is a store-wide ceiling across everything Apple India sells, and the figure recorded for the iPhone 18 Pro launch offer specifically is up to ₹7,000. iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900 in India, with the Pro Max at…
What Expires on an iPhone 18 Pro Order: Cases Can Wait, Three Other Choices Cannot
Nothing in Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro accessory line has a deadline attached to it. All six items carry fixed published prices, Apple has published no promotion on any of them, and none of them changes on Saturday, on September 18, or afterwards. Three other parts of the order do have clocks running. Apple's case prices…
iPhone 18 Pro Accessory Budget: The Two Discounts That Cover Cases, and the One Cost Apple Will Not Price
A case and a strap add $88 to a $1,199 iPhone 18 Pro, and the two published routes to paying less for that basket are not the ones people reach for. Apple’s Veterans and Military Purchase Program takes 10 percent off products and accessories, and Apple Card pays 3 percent back on purchases at Apple.…
One Wireless Charger for iPhone 18 Pro, AirPods 5 and Apple Watch? What Apple's 25W Ceiling Allows
One wireless charger cannot cover the three products Apple launched this month. The iPhone 18 Pro takes MagSafe or Qi2 at up to 25W either way, the $149 AirPods 5 case charges on Qi-certified chargers and Apple Watch chargers but is not listed for MagSafe, the $129 AirPods 5 has no wireless charging at all,…
iPhone 18 Pro Charger Prices: 10 Apple Storefronts Checked, None Lists the 60W Adapter
Apple’s fastest published charging figure for the iPhone 18 Pro, up to 50 percent in around 15 minutes, depends on a 60W USB-C adapter that Apple sells separately and has never priced. Ten Apple storefronts were checked and not one of them publishes a number for that adapter, or for the MagSafe Charger. Apple priced…

Can You Buy an iPhone 18 Pro in Store on September 18 Without Pre-Ordering?
Apple has published no walk-in policy for 18 September, and it has published no stock figures for any store, anywhere. If you want a straight answer to whether you can turn up on launch day without a pre-order and leave with a phone, Apple has not given one, and nobody else is in a position…
iPhone 18 Pro UK Trade-In: The One Number Apple Publishes
Apple has published one trade-in figure for the iPhone 18 Pro launch in the UK: customers trading in an iPhone 16 Pro or later can get £455 in credit instantly. That is the whole of it. There is no per-model UK table on any Apple page, and Apple’s own UK trade-in page shows no values…
iPhone 18 Pro Deals on EE, Vodafone, O2 and Three: What Has Actually Been Published
There is no carrier-by-carrier comparison to make for the iPhone 18 Pro in the UK yet, because the terms do not exist in published form. No EE, Vodafone, O2 or Three offer appears on any Apple page, and every carrier credit figure Apple does publish is attached to an American network. The iPhone 18 Pro…
iPhone 18 Pro Exchange Offer in India: How Much Apple Says You Can Save
Apple India publishes exactly one number for its exchange offer, and it is a ceiling rather than a quote: “Save up to ₹62,000.00 when you exchange your eligible smartphone.” Apple does not publish a per-model table anywhere on its Indian site, so the specific answer to what your own phone is worth is not a…
