Horace goes balance sheeting

For now I’m at slightly lower iPhones _and_ iPads, but I’m starting on a more conservative baseline.

I would be fairly happy with a 32M iPhone number for fiscal Q3 because it would still beat the currently prevailing 40s%-ish smartphone growth rate so far this year.

The China iPad certification deal is almost beginning to seem like it’s tied to that Proview trademark idiocy that’s still moving in a settlement direction last I checked.  In any case, it’s not a huge deal so long as iPad remains supply constrained (3-5 business days for shipment in the US).

Back OT, haven’t finished watching Horace’s presentation yet, but it’s very interesting so far.

The Summer of AAPL is here.  Enjoy it (responsibly) while it lasts.

Great analytical presentation, which is exactly where Horace shines.    This type of data further reinforces my view of Apple’s future potential…..regardless of what the stock is currently trading at.

Tim Cook: iPad is 91% of all tablet web traffic. I don’t know what these other tablets are doing.
