The only market moving news we can expect from Mr. Cook is an announcement of the iPhone being sold in more countries or the schedule for the iPhone 3G. But either news is unlikely.

I’d like to hear him say something reassuring about not seeing a slowdown in consumer spending. That would move the stock.

Mr. Cook, any reason why GS and AAPL trade like synchronized swimmers?

iphone touch enormous opportunity.  Apple TV launched as a peripheral.  Market for that is not nearly in the realm of our other businesses.  But our gut is that there’s more there.  Hence launch of Apple TV 2.

Re bad news this year - stop watching TV!  Apple not totally immune from economy, but Apple growth outstrips the economy.  We focus on what we can control.  Ipod discussed.  Saturation put to him.  Revenues grew 17%  highest ipod revenue growth.  Energy put on launch of ipod touch, talking more this week re SDK.
