That really is awesome, since as you know, typically cabrios of any make are invariably slower. I went with a Grand Sport over a Z06 (436 HP vs. 505) mainly because the top comes off (got a coupe, not full cabrio, to retain classic teardrop window).

Corvette autos have paddle shifters. Supposedly, they suck until aftermarket tuned (obviously, Porsche’s shifters do not). I just had to have the M6, personal preference. Not like I’m going to ever track the thing…

What an awesome car! Now let’s see if you’ll ever let a valet touch it.

I’ve never owned a Corvette, strange enough.  Do cars fit inside a bucket list?  And you’re right:  A valet won’t get a chance to Ferris Bueller my car….

I think you owe us an actual pic. You can Photoshop out your face and the license plate, but please leave the beautiful blonde in the passenger seat fully visible.

Silver is the vanilla of car colors, but it’s one the best colors dammit.  Strikes a nice balance between luster and dust camouflage. wink  Also not bad if you prefer to “blend in” (traffic cops, etc.) unless of course you drive Mercedes SL coupes with no license plates (here’s to you, Steve).

Blonde?  You haven’t been giving me your full undivided attention LOL

The photo is being processed at Kodak, so please be patient.  I’m currently borrowing S.J.‘s license plate to hold you over until then…

Need to blend in with the neighborhood.  Neighbors drive BMW, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti and Mercedes, so have to do likewise.  If in Atherton, would be driving Porsche or Ferrari. Do people still drive Cadillac?

The CTS-V would smoke a lot of sports cars, not to mention luxury cars.

Not my cup of tea, but my late grandfather, a real leadfoot with his 430 cid Buick Riviera, would sure have liked it.

    Hey car and iPad guys,

You may want to pick up the latest issue of Evo Magazine on the iPad. There is a pretty large sports car comparo that includes Porsche, Maserati, Jag, Lotus, GTR, Aston Martin,  Audi R8,  BMW M3 and M5, and MB AMG 63.

Some of you may be surprised at the top choice, although I wasn’t.
